Players born in 1997 & 1998 are classified as PeeWees. PeeWee teams are determined using a draft in late August and early September. Teams will begin practicing in September and the season ends in early March. Games vary from 50 to 80 minutes and practices are 50 to 80 minutes as well but you should plan on having your skater at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to their ice time so they are dressed and ready to go. PeeWee teams play most of their games in the Adray East league. They may travel occasionally to a tournament or to play an out of town team. PeeWees are required to wear full hockey equipment. The LCHA provides game jerseys and sox.
The cost of PeeWee House hockey is $1275.
All skaters playing in the LCHA are members of USA Hockey. Before you register with LCHA, please register with USA Hockey and either email a copy of your receipt to LCHA at lapeerhockey@live.com or attach a copy to your LCHA registration form.
